In this 2km long bay you will find three charming villages; Stikovica, Zaton Veliki and Zaton Mali. The bay will be our base for the first three days and nights of our holiday. After you settle in you can explore the bay with its many traditional seafront cafes and restaurants.

Meals: Dinner

Day 2

Dubrovnik sightseeing and hiking to the Srdj mountain

Explore the Old Town, stroll along its main street called Stradun, enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the historical squares and just take in the amazing atmosphere of the city. After we have visited the city, we will hike to the Srdj mountain, from where we will have a beautiful view over the city, the sea and the islands. There are several other options as well, such as a trip to the famous botanical gardens in Trsteno, joining a walking tour of the city walls or taking a short ferry ride to the island of Lokrum, where there are several interesting historical sites to explore and lovely beaches where you can go swimming.

Accommodation: Private guesthouse in Zaton Bay
Walking: about 3 hours
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 3

Hiking in National Park Mljet

On Monday we board the boat to National Park Mljet, a beautiful protected island that offers two salt water lakes and a 14th century monastery on a small island on one of the lakes. We will explore the park and its dense forests and take a short boat ride to the little island of St Mary where we will visit the monastery, which has been converted into a lovely restaurant.

Accommodation: Private guesthouse in Zaton Bay
Walking: about 3 to 4 hours

Day 4

A free day for you to choose your own activities

Take the opportunity to spend a day exactly the way you want, you can go to the beach, go sea kayaking, snorkeling or hiking for instance. There are also interesting trips available, for instance to the town of Cavtat or to the island of Korcula. In the late afternoon we will move on to our second accommodation, on the island of Lopud.

Accommodation: Guest house on Lopud island
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 5

Exploring Lopud island

For the travelers who book a 5-day trip, this will be the last day of their holiday. We recommend scheduling a late afternoon transfer back to Dubrovnik to be able to join the rest of the group on their activities.
The beautiful island of Lopud is home to just one town and only a few hundred inhabitants. On this tranquil, car-free island you will find sandy beaches, traditional houses, old churches and lots of amazing nature. We will explore the island on foot and visit its highest point, where you will find an old fort that the inhabitants used in the past for protection. The views from this point are truly amazing. If you want to go swimming, you will find a lovely sandy beach in Sunj Bay on the south side of the island. It is one of the most popular beaches in the Dubrovnik region.

Accommodation: Guest house on Lopud island
Walking: around 4 hours
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 6

Exploring Kolocep island

In the morning we take the ferry to Kolocep island. Kolocep is another great island to explore thanks to its lovely coastline with picturesque bays and coves, dramatic cliffs, colorful reefs and even hidden caves. You will find plenty of traditional stone houses on Kolocep island, for instance in the villages of Gornje Celo and Done Celo. These well preserved Dalmatian villages on a beautiful location along high cliffs are worth a visit, and you will be able to spend some time here during our lunch break. Many ruins from ancient times can still be found on Kolocep, such as an old chapel from pre-Roman times, the ruins of an old basilica, old summer homes, fortifications and much more.

Ferry transfer to Kolocep, approx. 25 minutes

Exploring Sipan Island

Sipan is the largest island in the Elafiti archipelago and has a lot of interesting sighs to offer, especially around the charming towns of Luka Sipanska and Sudjuradj. The island has a rich cultural heritage and a very turbulent past that is interesting to discover. We will explore the island and its many old monasteries, chapels, palaces, summer houses and castles. There will also be plenty of time to relax, either on the beach or in one of the cafes and restaurants.
