The following morning the cruise heads to its next destination, the island of Brač, in particular the town of Bol, which is famous for one of the best beaches in the world, the Zlatni Rat Beach. You will enjoy a few hours to explore this idyllic golden horn beach and enough time to have a swim before the ship heads to Stari Grad on the chic island of Hvar. After lunch you will have the remainder of the afternoon to explore this uniqie old town. Stari Grad Field is the oldest in Croatia and the best preserved example of ancient Greek system of agriculture. Together with the old town it is a part of world heritage protected by UNESCO.

Monday        STARI GRAD – HVAR

Our island hopping cruise heads to one of the highlights on the trip, the town of Hvar which is a Summer favourite for celebrities, royals and jet-setters from around the world. After lunch guests will have time to enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear sea at the nearby Pakleni islands. The ship is due to arrive in Hvar in the mid-afternoon where guests will enjoy a guided tour of this historic town and visit some of this cultural and ancient sites including the Renaissance cathedral, the oldest communal theatre in Europe founded in 1612, the Franciscan monastery, the Benedictine convent famous for their lace listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and the Spanjola fortress towering high above the town. Tuesday    HVAR – VIS

We set off early to the little Biševo island to visit the Blue Caves, a truly unique and magnificent natural phenomenon. We will arrive at the Blue Cave at the most opportune time to enjoy the sunlight reflecting through the sea floor turning the entire cave into an aquamarine colour and leaving objects in the water a shimmering silver colour. The cruise then continues to the Island of Vis, which was historically a strategic navy harbour but is now closed. Vis is one of the most outer Adriatic islands and as such it has been fairly isolated compared to many of the other islands. This isolation has preserved its traditional Croatian charm and it serves as a reminder to visitors of what Mediterranean life was like before tourists discovered the islands. We will spend the night on the island and guests will be able to sample a selection of delicious sea food restaurants and also if interested visit the remains of the Roman thermal Place, City museum or simply take  a walk enjoying the view of beautiful ”Villae Rusticae” situated along the coast.

Wednesday      VIS – KORČULA

Whilst guests enjoy breakfast, the cruise heads towards Korčula, the birthplace of famous explorer and adventurer Marco Polo. Korčula is surrounded by medieval walls and resembles a miniature Dubrovnik when approaching from the sea. It has more legends, tales and monuments than you will find anywhere else. Korčula is today the only place in the world where the Spanish medieval knight’s game – Moreška is still performed. Upon arrival enjoy a walk through the streets of the old town built in the shape of a fish bone. Enjoy the numerous konobas /taverns, restaurants, cocktail bars or night-club located within and around the city walls. Overnight in port.

Our Croatia Cruise continues towards one of the greenest and most protected Adriatic islands, the beautiful island of Miljet which has a protected national park on the western side of the island. Cruise guests will enjoy some free time to explore the National Park which consists of two salt water lakes connected by a narrow sea channel. You can enjoy your free time in Miljet either swimming, cycling around the lakes or taking a boat ride to St Mary Isle to visit the old church and monastery.
