Highlights of Croatia Tour

Begin your 12-day private tour of Croatia in the beautiful chocolate-box capital of Zagreb. Our private English speaking guided tour of the city’s major sites and attractions will reveal impressive Austro-Hungarian architecture, ancient monuments and buildings, and fascinating museums. You have a full day to explore the stunning city at your leisure.

Enjoy a day in the spectacular Plitvice National Park, surrounded by 16 interconnected emerald-coloured lakes, a dramatic series of waterfalls, and walkways and paths that reveal hidden gems. On leaving the park, you will spend two days in Split, exploring the fascinating architecture and the 1600-year old marble maze of the Diocletian’s Palace. A visit to Trogir gives you the chance to snorkel off the coast for amazing underwater views, or to spend time relaxing in the atmospheric historic Old Town.

We transfer to cosmopolitan Hvar Island, where you can join the private tour of Hvar Town. You will also have time to explore the magnificent coastline of the surrounding islands from the extraordinary Blue Cave, and to indulge in refreshing swim stops at an enticing collection of secluded coves and inlets. Relax and enjoy a full day of sailing around the nearby islands, or customise your travel experience with a Jeep Safari in Hvar’s picturesque villages. Wine tasting tours are a popular alternative option.

Your final three days are spent in the exquisite city of Dubrovnik – Dalmatia’s most captivating destination. Explore the baroque architecture of its marble streets, walk along its ancient city walls and taste the very best of authentic Dalmatian cuisine. DAY 3 PLITVICE

Bid farewell to Zagreb, as we head to one of Croatia’s most popular destinations. Plitvice Lakes National Park is UNESCO-protected and boasts 16 inter-linked lakes, breathtaking waterfalls and stunning flora and indigenous fauna. Take a stroll around the park and admire the cascading waterfalls from the quaint wooden bridges that span the crystal-clear waters of the freshwater lakes. Enjoy a scenic boat ride, followed by a panoramic train ride in the amazing natural paradise. In the evening, you can relax in a local bistro, bar or restaurant. Overnight in Plitvice.

DAY 4 SPLIT

Best known for its imposing UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace, Split is Croatia’s second largest city and our midday destination. On arrival, join our private guided tour of the Old Town to discover the popular major highlights of the city, with a brief history lesson on the local historical details. Split is embellished with ancient Roman and medieval architecture that enhances its rich heritage. Overnight in Split.

DAY 6 HVAR

Hvar has a jet-set reputation and is recognised as one of the most beautiful and pristine islands in Croatia.
