Leaving Athens

Day 1 – Athens – private walking tour


You will be met at Athens airport and driven by private transfer to your overnight hotel. Explore the iconic sights of Athens and delve into the rich history and heritage on a private half-day tour of the city’s headline acts led by a knowledgeable local guide. Explore the UNESCO-listed ruins of the Acropolis of Athens and dive into the mythological world of Ancient Greece as you visit the Parthenon, the Temple of Zeus and Temple of Athena Nike. You’ll also get chance to see the Panathenian Stadium, where the first Olympic Games was held in the 19th century; witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony outside the Greek Parliament; and visit the National Gardens. In the evening, sample local treats like sweet donuts known as loukoumades, Greek bread and regional cheeses, washed down with Greek wine and freshly brewed coffee.

Day 2 – Board the Ship - Marina Zeas (Piraeus) – Kea


After a morning at leisure to enjoy the facilities in the hotel or to explore Athens further, you will be driven to Marina Zeas in Piraeus to board the Harmony G cruise ship. Your Classical Greece cruise begins with embarkation at 1400hrs to 1500hrs. Relax in your luxury cabin before joining your fellow passengers at the Welcome party that evening where you will be introduced to the captain and the crew. After dinner, enjoy free time exploring Korrisia, the charming tiny port of Kea. At a waterfront taverna you can unwind over a drink and watch the world go by. On your return to the ship we set sail for Delos and overnight at sea.


DAY 3 – Delos – Mykonos


After a freshly prepared breakfast, join our optional English-speaking guided tour to the unique archaeological site of Delos. The Cyclades archipelago uninhabited island is considered to be antiquity’s most sacred isle. Explore the island’s ancient ruins that encompass a port, markets, houses and religious temples.

We continue to the port of Tourlos in Mykonos, with a swim stop en route. You have a free afternoon and evening to explore the island’s cosmopolitan lifestyle at your leisure. Visit the iconic windmill landmarks and enjoy the glamorous nightlife in this white-washed paradise.



DAY 4 – Santorini


Enjoy an easy morning relaxing onboard. We arrive at the beautiful sun kissed island of Santorini around midday. The island’s rugged landscape is the result of a volcanic eruption in the 16th century. Visit the charming towns of Fira and Oia, and the famous underwater caldera (crater).

The towns’ whitewashed houses cling to the cliffs and create a unique stunning sculpture that boasts magnificent views across the Aegean Sea. Join our optional tour to the local archaeological sites and the enchanting traditional villages that will instantly transport you to another time.


DAY 5 – Crete - Rethymnon


In the morning we arrive at Crete’s famous bustling town of Rethymnon, on the north coast. Explore the Old Town and the charming Venetian harbour that is brimming with traditional fishing boats and colourful tavernas. Our optional guided tour visits the ancient city of Knossos, near Heraklion.

Crete’s largest Bronze Age archaeological site is also Europe’s oldest, dating to the Neolithic period. Explore the ancient settlement and the ceremonial palace of Knossos that were associated with the Minoan people. The historical attraction also boasts an excellent archaeological museum. Late departure for Kythira.

Kythira Greece

DAY 6 – Kythira


Enjoy free time and a swim stop before the afternoon arrival at Kythira. The idyllic island is situated in the tip of the Peloponnese peninsula, and boasts fabulous sandy beaches, cascading waterfalls and hidden gorges and valleys. Its remote location makes it the perfect get away from it all destination. In the evening, visit the picturesque main town of Chora.

The ancient settlement is dominated by a Venetian castle and preserved ruins and boasts breathtaking hilltop views of Filoti bay and Kapsali. You can shop for souvenirs in the quaint alleys and dine along the waterfront.


DAY 7 – Monemvasia – Nafplion


Discover the remarkable medieval fortified town of Monemvasia. The enchanting town is carved on the side of an elevated, huge sea rock that is protected from view. Explore the preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture in its unspoiled natural setting. In the afternoon we sail for Nafplion, with a swim stop en route.

The mainland seaport town of Nafplion is home to distinctive period architecture, medieval fortifications, a charming Old Town and a long stretch of sandy beach. For an authentic Greek experience, visit the family-run restaurants that are frequented by the locals.


DAY 8 – Nafplion – Hydra or Spetses


Join our optional morning tour to the archaeological site of Mycenae and the imposing walled palace of Agamemnon. The fortified citadel is one of the most important historic sites in all of Greece. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is an impressive monumental ruin of two great Mycenaean cities.

In the afternoon we sail for the island of Hydra (or Spetses). Enjoy a free evening exploring the car-free picturesque port town that is situated on the slopes of a hill. Explore the intimate coves and beaches or relax with a drink and admire the wonderful views.

DAY 9 – Disembark ship at Marina Zeas and fly to Dubrovnik


In the early hours we depart for Marina Zeas. On arrival, enjoy breakfast and bid farewell to your fellow passengers and crew before disembarkation and your private transfer to Athens airport for your short flight to Dubrovnik. This UNESCO World Heritage site requires little introduction, affectionately known as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’, due to its many marble wonders. You will travel by private transfer to your overnight hotel. After arrival, relax in the surroundings of the hotel, visit the beach or explore the Old Town and enjoy a glimpse of the many famous places where the hit TV show Game of Thrones was filmed. The historic medieval city boasts protective defensive walls, majestic palaces and ornate churches.

DAY 10 – Dubrovnik - Check in to the cruise ship


You will have the morning at leisure in Dubrovnik to explore the city further or to relax in your hotel. Take a leisurely morning stroll in the city scaling the city walls or simply treating yourself to a delicious lunch or a refreshing drink with sea views. You will have a private transfer from your hotel, to Gruz Harbour to board, for a 1400hrs check in. You will then experience an expertly-guided tour through the ancient Old Town of Dubrovnik, tracing back the history of the Dubrovnik Republic via its many magnificent monuments and awe-inspiring architecture. See the city from above on the Old Town cable car, with sights of the city walls and Elaphiti Islands before heading back to the ship for a cocktail reception and a chance to meet the captain, crew and your fellow passengers. Overnight in Gruz Harbour, Dubrovnik.

DAY 11 – Slano/Ston


Enjoy the magnificent views across the mainland, including the Dubrovnik city walls and Elaphiti Islands, where you will have a chance to swim in the crystal-clear waters. Experience the stunning blue waters of the Adriatic on route to the quaint village of Slano. Arrive in the quiet and picture-perfect fishermen’s village of Slano in the afternoon. After exploring the town, we head to Ston, famed for its divine fresh oysters, which you will have a chance to taste at a local restaurant. Overnight in Slano/ Ston.

DAY 12 – Mljet


Travel south to the island of Mljet, known for its legends that date back to Greek Mythology. The island is also known for its natural beauty with its stunning lush forests and unique salt lakes in Mljet National Park. After a guided tour through the lush woods towards the famous salt lakes, take a boat ride to St. Mary Isle, where you will find a delightful medieval church and a Benedictine monastery. If you’re feeling active, explore the island by renting kayaks, scooters or bicycles, the ideal way to experience the stunning national park. Overnight in Mljet National Park.

Day 13 - Korcula


Depart Vis and set sail towards the magnificent Korcula Island, famed for being the birthplace of the famous explorer, Marco Polo. Lunch at a secluded bay before taking a local guided tour through the charming old town, with its city walls and medieval architecture. Admire the unique fish bone street patterns in the Old Town where you can find a great selection of independent bars and restaurants to sample a range of tasty local food and take in some evening entertainment. An optional trip to a small village on the island for a local Dalmatian dinner. Overnight in Korcula.

Day 14 - Vis


Our transfer to the magical remote Island of Vis takes us first to Vis Town, world-renowned for being the ‘Mediterranean as it once was’ thanks to its spectacular remains of the ancient Issa – the very first urban centre in Croatia. Once home to a naval Yugoslav base which is entirely untouched and unspoilt but is famed for being the idyllic setting for the hit movie – Mama Mia 2! After exploring the city, unwind at a wine tasting session, where you get to sample only the best wines from the region. Other sights include the Roman Thermal Place, the City Museum, and views of the Villae Rusticae from the waterfront. Overnight at the port of Vis.

Blue Cave

DAY 15 - Bisevo (Blue Cave)/ Hvar


We head towards Bisevo to explore the breathtaking Blue Cave. A natural marvel, the Blue Cave is a sea grotto of illuminated light. After lunch on board, we visit the jet-set island of Hvar – the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic. Flanked by colourful lavender fields, the island’s hub of Hvar Town is another historic marvel set against a backdrop of sun-bleached white houses and tranquil turquoise sea and exudes the magical Mediterranean charm of yesteryear. Spend a wonderful evening indulging in the bars, restaurants and cafes. Ovenight in Hvar.

DAY 16 - Bol (Brac)/ Split


We set sail to Brac Island with a stop at the world-famous Zlatini Rat, one of Croatia’s most photographed beaches. Swim at this stunning beach and visit the nearby city of Bol, a traditional fishing village that has since become a hotspot. We also visit one of the area’s most beautiful and photographed beaches – the Zlatni Rat. Known as the Golden Cape, this long strip of white sandy beach is ideal for swimming. We then head towards our final destination, Split, a town known for its stunning beaches and UNESCO-protected historic centre. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the town’s major sites, including the majestic Diocletian Palace, the former home of Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th Century A.D. Enjoy an elegant farewell dinner with the Captain, featuring excellent live entertainment.


DAY 17 – Departure from Split


After a lavish breakfast, you will bid farewell to the crew and your fellow travellers, with rich memories to cherish. You will take your private transfer to Split Airport for your return flight.
