Afterwards, you’ll hop on a boat for a visit to the Our Lady on the Rocks, a man-made islet constructed by sinking old and seized ships loaded with rocks, topped with a lovely church and museum. Conclude with a walking tour along the cobbled streets of the walled Old Town of Kotor, one of the Adriatic’s most well-preserved medieval towns with picturesque squares and centuries-old buildings.

The friendly crew will help you with your bags and ensure they’re carefully stowed so that you can enjoy a guided walking tour through the walled Old City of Dubrovnik. Sailing gets underway this morning with our departure for Slano, a traditional fortified village on the mainland. Upon our arrival, we’ll disembark with time for you to marvel at the medieval walls before heading to the nearby village of Ston, also fortified. It’s best known for its shellfish, however, and you’ll get to enjoy a sampling of its most popular delicacy, oysters, complemented with Dalmatian wine. You’ll learn about their history, how they’re harvested, and why they’re some of the world’s most delicious before returning to the ship with time to prepare for the evening’s Captain’s Dinner, a multicourse feast with live music.

    DAY 6 Mljet & Korcula

    Slano, Croatia, Unforgettable Croatia

The island-hopping part of your journey begins today with Mljet the first stop. We’ll anchor just outside Mljet National Park which protects a significant amount of the island with its two saltwater lakes popular attractions. You can reach them with just a short walk and enjoy sunbathing or swimming from one of the small beaches. Or, hop in a boat for a ride to the islet at the heart of Great Lake which is topped with a 12th-century Benedictine Monastery. Continuing our cruise to Korcula Island, you’ll join our local guide near one of the gates for a tour of the walled Old Town.

    DAY 7 Vis

    Vis town coastal

Discover unspoiled Vis Island, a place that feels as if it’s in another time with its lack of tourism development, thanks to the remote location and being closed off to visitors for 40 years while used as a military base. The outside world rediscovered its delights after the independence of Croatia, and you’ll be able to enjoy its tranquillity and stunning natural beauty on your own. We’ll arrive just outside Vis Town where you can take a stroll along the waterfront, visit the archaeological museum, a Roman theatre and perhaps climb to the top of the fortress for some refreshing sundowner cocktails.

It’s just a short boat ride from Vis and you’ll enter in a small vessel that can get through its narrow entrance. Marvel at the surreal blue glow, a magical natural phenomenon that occurs when the sun beams its rays through a crack in the roof, reflecting off the white limestone sea bottom. Please note that entry to the Blue Cave is subject to weather and sea conditions and therefore the entry fee of EUR20pp is payable on the day. From here, we continue to Hvar where we’ll visit a highly sought-after family-run winery in the small town of Jelsa for a wine tasting.

Also known as the Golden Horn, it’s frequently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in Europe, surrounded on three sides by translucent cobalt waters. Enjoy an unforgettable swim or grab a cup of coffee in the village of Bol nearby if you’d rather stay dry. Medieval Trogir is our next stop. Like an open-air museum, there are many spectacular landmarks, including the 13th-century Romanesque-Gothic St. Lawrence Cathedral and 15th-century Kamerlengo Castle. The waterfront promenade is an ideal place to dine in many eateries for an alfresco meal and a view.
