    DAY 1 Arrival to Split. Private City Tour

    Welcome to the stunning city of Split! Our driver will collect you from the airport and you will check into your hotel.

    This afternoon, join an expert local guide for a comprehensive tour of Split. Begin at the south wall of Diocletian’s Palace, from where you can truly appreciate its scale and grandeur. Learn about the origins and purposes of the Palace, and continue inside to explore hidden basements, central Peristyle Square, and the historic cathedral, originally constructed as Diocletian’s Mausoleum.

    You will meet your guide and depart from the city of Split and drive to the magnificent Krka National Park. You will have a guided tour around the natural beauty spot and explore the restored stone houses, watermills, exhibits and workshops. The network of forest pathways, trails and wooden bridges will lead you to the discovery of diverse flora and fauna. Marvel at the size of the majestic Stradinski buk that traverses 49 km downstream.

    DAY 3 Arrival to Hvar

    You will be driven to Split harbour where you will board a catamaran to Hvar island.

    Hvar town is set against a backdrop of stone houses and turquoise sea and exudes an authentic Mediterranean charm. For the most panoramic view over the town, climb the 17th-century Fortica Fortress. Explore Hvar’s narrow streets, filled with wonderfully atmospheric restaurants and shops selling artisanal beauties. At nightfall, sip a cocktail whilst taking in the sights and sounds of Hvar’s nightlife.

    DAY 4 Pakleni Islands Small Group Sailing Trip

    On this popular tour today, you will spend 6 hours on board a sailing ship exploring the beautiful Pakleni Islands. The tour does not follow a fixed itinerary, the ship’s skipper will decide the best islands to visit based on the weather conditions that day. You will stop to enjoy the beaches and hop off the boat for swimming and snorkelling. There will be a lunch stop on one of the islands where you can enjoy a proper Dalmatian lunch by the sea.

    Whilst in Hvar, visit award-winning winery Tomic. Taste award-winning wines Plavac Mali, local favourite Bogdanusa or ‘Prosek’ (sweet dessert wine) Hectorovich in fantastic stone cellars, not unlike those used by Romans.

    For a bit more active day out, go on a jeep safari tour, exploring Hvar’s countryside. Abandoned in the 50s, the nearby village Malo Grablje has a new-found purpose as an ethnic-eco village, open to tourists and providing an insight into authentic island life. There is a restaurant serving traditionally-prepared food, using only locally-sourced ingredients, so you can enjoy a meal in a tranquil and beautiful setting.

    DAY 6 Arrival to Korcula. Private City Tour

    A transfer and catamaran will be arranged to whisk you to Korcula Town on Korcula Island, a small fortified town that sits delicately out to sea.

    This afternoon, you’ll take a guided walking tour through the gorgeous medieval streets of Korcula Town. While strolling the cobbles you’ll learn about the history and architecture of the town, with its links to the legendary explorer Marco Polo, and also take in vital details from your guide on the best areas to explore for dining, shopping, and nightlife. Your guide will point out architectural influences from the Venetian Renaissance, evident in St Marc’s Square, Town Hall Square, St Marc’s Cathedral, and the promenade on which once stood the city walls.

    Badija is a small island in front of Korcula Town, easily reached by a taxi boat from Korcula harbour. With its crystal-clear waters and tranquil beach, it’s a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day of sun and sea with an old Franciscan monastery in the backdrop or have fun snorkelling. The island is also home to some friendly deer, creating an idyllic scene. Bring some food with you and enjoy a picnic in the shadow of the pine forest, perhaps with a glass of local wine.

    Sample some of Korcula’s finest wines on our walking tour through the beautiful village of Lumbarda. Stroll through the scenic countryside and learn all about the local village life. You will visit two wineries to sample the wine (Grk or Plavac Mali grape varieties). To accompany your wine tasting there will be traditional appetisers and the local pasta dish ‘Zrnovski Makaruni’ which is pasta with a meat or tomato sauce. You can wander through the vineyards and then head down to the beach for the sunset.

    DAY 9 Arrival to Dubrovnik. Private City Tour

    Today you will depart for your final destination on this holiday, the Pearl of Adriatic – Dubrovnik.

    Upon arrival, our driver will meet you at the harbour and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will organise a private guided tour of the Old Town. Your knowledgeable guide will regale you with fascinating facts and historical anecdotes from the city’s history whilst strolling the atmospheric streets. Some of the highlights include the 1438 Onofrio’s Fountain which has carried drinking water into the city for nearly 600 years and the Franciscan Monastery which hosts one of Europe’s oldest still-functioning pharmacies, along with the elegant 15th-century clock tower, stunning Rector’s Palace, the baroque Cathedral of the Assumption and the Church of St. Blaise, the city’s patron saint.

    For a day surrounded by nature and tranquillity, hop on a ferry for a day trip to Lokrum island nature reserve, offering beautiful wild beaches and remains of a 12th-13th century Benedictine monastery of St Mary and a cloister garden. Enjoy a day of nature, surrounded by Lokrum’s locals: peacocks and wild bunnies. There’s a simple cafe offering drinks and quick bites but it’s advisable to bring your own picnic if you plan on staying longer.
