    DAY 1 Split

    Split harbor

    Upon arrival at Split’s airport, our driver will be waiting to welcome you, or if you prefer, you can be met at your local hotel in Split for a private transfer. Your impressive ship awaits you in the harbour, with embarkation from 2 p.m. on. Take time to settle in and get to know the facilities before joining our local guide for a tour that includes the vast 4th-century Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace with its narrow streets and alleyways lined with remarkably well-preserved Roman architecture. Once back onboard, join us for a welcome cocktail reception where you’ll be introduced to the captain and crew, and spend time getting to know your fellow passengers, before enjoying a delicious multi-course welcome dinner.

    DAY 2 Korcula

    We’ll make an early departure from Split for Korcula, famous as the birthplace of international explorer Marco Polo. As we make our way, we’ll stop for lunch, anchoring in a secluded bay where you can savor your meal and the gorgeous scenery. Upon arrival you’ll enjoy your first tour, meeting our local guide at the gate of the storybook-like walled historic center. As you stroll the streets, laid out in a fishbone shape to help protect residents from the elements, you’ll notice many Venetian features like the winged lions on the Gothic-Renaissance St. Mark’s Cathedral. You’ll have time to explore independently afterward, with many enticing shops and galleries to browse. Enjoy dinner on your own at one of the sea-view restaurants or authentic traditional tavernas.

    DAY 3 Mljet National Park & Dubrovnik

    Mljet Island, Croatia

    Continuing our journey to Mljet National Park on Mljet Island, one of Croatia’s greenest islands, here you’ll join your Cruise Director for a walk along the paths that wind through the woods, with an abundance of lush greenery. Just a short stroll will bring you to the park’s famous saltwater lakes with vibrant shades of emerald and turquoise. After returning to the ship, we cruise on to Dubrovnik, enjoying a swim stop along the way. Upon arrival into the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” we’ll sail right alongside the massive medieval walls of the historic center. Docking near the Old City walls, you’ll have a gorgeous view this evening for our special sunset dinner onboard.

    DAY 4 Dubrovnik

    Dubrovnik City Walls

    Now that you’ve seen the magnificent exterior of the Old City, it’s time to tour what’s inside the walls. Joining your Cruise Director and our local guide, you’ll discover many centuries-old buildings lined along the limestone-paved streets like the 14th-century Gothic-Renaissance Rector’s Palace, 16th-century Renaissance Sponza’s Palace, and 15th-century Onofrio’s Fountain. The remainder of the afternoon will be enjoyed at your leisure. You might even walk atop the city walls for a view of the sea on one side and the red-tiled rooftops on the other. Or ride the cable car to the top of Mt. Srd for a stunning panoramic vista of it all. An optional traditional Croatian village dinner at a family-run eatery with live music is available this evening.

    DAY 5 Mljet & Slano

    Oyster Tasting, Croatia

    Today is all about breathtaking scenery and mouthwatering flavors as we sail to the Peljesac Peninsula, famous for producing red wines and for its oysters, said to be some of the world’s most delicious thanks to the high concentration of salt and other minerals in the water. As we make our way to the small town of Slano, enjoy a swim stop in one of the tranquil bays. Upon arrival, your Cruise Director will lead you to a boat for the short ride to Ston where a tasting of freshly harvested mussels and oysters will be enjoyed. Once back on the ship, you’ll have time to prepare for a special event: the Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment.

    DAY 6 Hvar

    Continuing to beautiful Hvar, renowned for its frequent sunny skies, beautiful beaches, world-class dining, and nightlife, soak up the scenery and enjoy a short swim stop, before arriving in the mid-afternoon. Your Cruise Director will bring you to one of the most popular family-run wineries for a tasting of a variety of island-made wines. Once back in Hvar Town this evening, you’ll be able to sample the many delights that have made it so famous, including dinner alfresco on your own in one of the many outstanding restaurants. If you’re up for a night out, this is the place to do it – and you might just spot a celebrity or two as well.

    DAY 7 Trogir

    Old Town of Trogir

    Departing Hvar early this morning for Trogir, your last swim stop of the trip will be enjoyed, an extended one so you can relax and savor every moment. Upon arrival to the medieval walled Old Town, you’ll have time on your own to explore. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it was founded by Greek colonists as ‘Tragurion’ in the 3rd century BC and boasts some of the most well-preserved Romanesque-Gothic architecture in all of Central Europe. Witness some 2,300 years of history in this “open-air museum,” including landmarks like the Romanesque-Gothic St. Lawrence Cathedral, Kamerlengo (the 15th-century castle/fortress) the Town Hall, Town Gate, and Central Square. After exploring, find a table at one of the many small and atmospheric traditional eateries.

    DAY 8 Split Departure

    Diocletian Palace

    Our enchanting adventure soon concludes, cruising back to Split early this morning. Those who have early flights to catch can disembark before we depart with Split’s airport nearby. Otherwise, once we’ve returned to where it all began, disembarkation will be by 9 a.m. Enjoy breakfast and time for farewells to your fellow passengers, many of whom have likely become new friends, along with the captain and crew. You’ll be met by your driver for a private transfer to the airport, or to your local hotel in Split if you want to spend more time in the ancient city. Whatever your plans we hope you’ve enjoyed an experience of a lifetime and look forward to seeing you again on another unforgettable journey.
